Leuchtturm: Llorando se fue or Hunting High and Low

“(...) Goehringer echoes this observation through a mural spanning two walls, employing this original and transient form of representation as a canvas to weave a contemporary fairy tale from existing narratives and myths surrounding the water woman and her demise. It narrates magical underwater realms and perilous depths, of aqueous bodies that transcend gender, defying clear categorization, embodying otherness, a semi-(un)presence. These aqueous spirits disrupt the barriers of reality, hinting at the existence of something deeper, submerged within the lake. Reality blends with fiction, sexuality mingles with detachment, mirrored images intertwine with the subconscious, erotic longing juxtaposed with seductive peril (...)"
